Questions worth asking before you trust a document AI
Generation only ever sees passages that were retrieved from your documents, wrapped in labelled evidence blocks. Each claim must cite a chunk, and the quoted passage is validated as a real substring of that chunk before the citation is stored. When reranked relevance falls below the configured threshold, the assistant abstains and says the documents do not contain enough evidence.
